It is your first achievement with the ‘Greens.’
-
-
It is the most cherished and most wonderful achievement in my career so far. World Cup qualifier is incomparable event.
-
-
You did not seem nervous though it was your first match with the ‘Greens.’
-
-
I was self-confident. I was only thinking about bringing joy to our fans who came to Sudan for us. It was a strong motivation for us.
-
-
What were the advices you were given before the match?
-
-
Coach Rabah Saadane gave me important advices which made me feel the big responsibility on my shoulder. He told me it was my chance to make the team qualify to the World Cup. At that moment, I had a special feeling I can not describe.
-
-
-
You saved the team from many goals. Did you feel the danger of the opponent at certain moments?
-
-
I have to say we played against a strong team of distinguished elements like Abu Trika. Yet, they could not score any goal.
-
-
Zidane insulted you, didn’t he?
-
-
In such a match, players should not loose their temper. He changed his behaviour because he failed to score any goal.
-
-
We must not forget goalkeeper Guaouaoui as he played a big role in the qualifiers. Sudanese people had supported us all the time.
-
-
I was just dreaming of wearing the national team’s shirt but I found myself playing in a decisive match against Egypt. Thanks Allah for all that.

-
The Algerian team played in a different way compared to Saturday’s match.
-
-
It is out of the question to compare Saturday’s match to the one played in Sudan. What happened in Egypt can be called a ‘terror movie.’ We were attacked and many of us were injured. Algerian fans also were attacked though Egypt won the match. Our victory came to prove that they can not do do anything without attacks.

Egypt said you broke the bus windows to make a noise. What do you think about that?
-
-
All the world knows about the scandal. Because of that, Egypt found itself embarrassed. I wonder whether any player can hit himself on purpose. Can the fans beat themselves?
