Air Algerie reduces ticket price by 50 percent
CEO of Air Algerie Abdelouahid Bouabdellah said Friday Tamnrasset-Algiers ticket price will be reduced by 50 percent.
-
“The reduction came upon recommendations from the president of the republic to make Algerian southern areas less isolated,” said Bouabdellah in an official ceremony.
-
“The new measure will be granted to residents of Tamnrasset and areas very far from Algiers but they will not include businessmen and tourists,” he added.
-
According to Air Algerie CEO, the company submitted a demand to the Algerian National Popular Army to recover facilities belonging to aviation sector. This endeavour is meant to extend the international airport of Tamnrasset.

Bouabdellah said Tamnrasset airport will be a stop for aircrafts going to and from African countries. “It is part of involving the airport in the international air network.”
