Al Wasoof survives horrific car accident and denies converting to Islam

The legendary Syrian artist George Wasoof recently survived a horrific car accident while driving with his son Hatem near Al Vanisia hotel in Beirut. Al Wasoof and his son were not hurt, but his car was destroyed.

• On other grounds, Al Wasoof denied rumors that he has converted to Islam. 
• Numerous pictures of Al Wasoof in which he is raising his hands in prayer, wearing “Khaliji” (Gulf countries) clothing have been circulating on the internet.
•  Al Wasoof said that he always believed that religion is found in the heart, away from publicity and the media, therefore such rumors should not be answered.
• Al Wasoof, known as Abu Wadee, lives between his home country Syria and Lebanon.
