Algeria: 45,000 AADL houses to policemen and soldiers
A total of 25,035 houses will be allocated to policemen and 20,000 to soldiers of the Popular National Army and employees at the national defense ministry as part of Algeria’s AADL housing project, according to the agency general director.
“Policemen, soldiers and employees at the national defense ministry will have to respect the same registration conditions,” Ben Idir told Echorouk.
“A new agency has been opened in Algiers to renew registered applications. It receives 400 applicants per day while other agencies in the country finished their work,” he added.
A total of 60 houses are allocated to Algiers, 10,000 to the province of Annaba, 10,000 to Constantine, 10,000 to Setif and 10,000 to Oran. Prefects gave lands to build 149,000 houses in 48 provinces. The government approved on 16,000 by mutual agreements deals out of 34,000.
In a working meeting, the Algerian housing minister Abdelmadjid Teboune ordered housing directors to continue implementing the five-year-program projects and launch 650,000 houses.
