Algerian Football team 55 in FIFA World Ranking of March here on Wednesday.

 Fifa.com shows that Algeria’s team has maintained the same position of February ranking.

 

At the African level, Algeria ranks 10 beyond Ghana (16-1), Ivory Cost (25+1), Egypt (35-2), Nigeria (39+1), Burkina Faso (40+1), Cameroon (42+1), Guinea (44+2), Tunisia (45+3) and South Africa (46+1).

 

The coming opponent of Algeria team in the Africa Cup of Nations 2012, Morocco ranks 66 (+8). The team’s highest FIFA ranking on April 10, 1998 and its lowest ranking on September 9, 2010. It was the best mover on May, 19, 1997 and worst mover on July, 12, 2010.

 

The two other teams that Algeria will face for ACN qualification 2012, Central Africa and Tanzania rank 112 (+2) and 121 (+2).

 

Spain is top of the raking, followed by Netherlands and Germany, while the only change among the top ten is Greece which moves to the tenth place, benefiting from one rank.

 

The 55 International friendly matches caused a considerable change in the FIFA World Ranking of March 2011.    

 

March ranking also noticed a change in the top five teams, Argentina moves to the fourth place thanks to the friendly victory over Portugal (2-1) and Brazil fourth (-1) because of its defeat before France (1-0), thing which makes “Samba” team lose top of the Latin American countries.

 

 Serbia (20+3) enters the top 20 race at the expense of Slovakia (22-2) which stalled (2-1) in Luxemburg.

 

Bulgaria (47+4) and Ecuador (49+5) enter the top 50 FIFA ranking, without realizing a victory in an international match.

 

Next FIFA World Raking will be announced on February 13, 2011.
