Algeria adopts decisions to solve housing crisis

Algeria determined interests on construction and promotional housing purchase at 1 percent for people earning 70,000 DZ and 3 percent for more than 80,000 DZ.

• A public housing help has been set at around 70 million centimes for people earning less than 60,000 DZ for promotional and participative housing. Some 40 million centimes will be for people earning between 6 and 27,000 DZ for promotional and participative housing.
• The council of ministers approved Monday on finance draft bill 2010 presented by finance minister. The budget bill includes 3,081 billion DZ receipts and 5,860 DZ expenses.
• An expected budget deficit will be covered while management budget is estimated at 2,838 billion DZ. Equipment and investment budget reaches 3,332 billion DZ.
• Equipment budget includes around 250 billion DZ for encouraging youth employment and economic investment. A total of 38 billion DZ will be allocated for new jobs creation,106 billion DZ for agricultural investment, 100 billion DZ for industrial investment including 75 billion DZ for the capital of the National Fund of Investment, 6 billion DZ to support industrial competition and 21 billion DZ to reduce banking interests.
