Algeria and Tunisia… A Common Target for External Blows and Paid Trolls

Algeria and Tunisia remain among the countries known for their sovereign stances in a time of great flight from the values of dignity in the Maghreb region.

This has made them vulnerable to “malicious” agendas carefully crafted and executed by hired parties who have sold their conscience for a cheap price, primarily targeting the symbols and institutions of these countries that refuse to follow the current trend.

Recently, voices have emerged on social media networks targeting the stances of countries that stick to their people’s values, or at least casting doubt on them, through calls to reconsider these positions in the name of protecting interests and avoiding pressures they cannot face, especially concerning essential national interests such as the Palestinian issue, which has suffered months of betrayal beyond imagination.

Both Algeria and Tunisia are seen as symbols of courageous positions and not following the current tide, which has placed them at the eye of the storm of parties that have lost what remains of their honor and innocence. They thus desperately attempt to impose a false reality via social media, through paid voices that have also lost their remaining credibility.

What is noteworthy is that the targeting of national regimes known for defending their sovereignty, independence of decision, and territorial integrity in Algeria and Tunisia is carried out through paid and frantic campaigns aimed at destabilizing their stability for the benefit of dubious agendas and cooperating parties.

This campaign is led by moving puppets through social media platforms, exploiting their distance from accountability and encouraging sinister intelligence circles to promote rumors, spread toxins, incite sedition, and smear leaders and high officials, especially in sensitive sectors.

In contrast, these paid parties, also known for their treachery, try to clean the scene of the treacherous and submissive regimes from dirt and filth, portraying them as the actual advocates of the interests and values of the Arab nation, in a distorted yet exposed scene, since such voices are no longer “gathering,” as some like to describe them.

Given the danger of the role social media networks now play in directing public opinion—or rather, creating chaos within societies and destabilizing them—these paid voices have been exploiting routine problems and ordinary difficulties that communities in countries refusing to trade their stances face, in an attempt to rally them against the symbols of their essential institutions.

These maneuvers have failed multiple times, thanks to the awareness gained by Algerians and their Tunisian brothers in recent years, which have been full of external conspiracies executed by internal paid hands.

Despite the organized campaign against Algeria, which continues, these conspiracies have been shattered on the walls of its national independence and the strength of its political system, thanks to the consciousness of the people and their support for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who explicitly stated that in Algeria’s international relations, regardless of the amount of defamation and incitement, dealings are based on dignity, respect, and independence.

What happened to Algeria also affected sister Tunisia, which is still paying the price for the national policy chosen by President Qais Saeed—relying on self-reliance, refusing interference in internal affairs, and confronting external impositions.

The defamation campaigns, especially those originating from social media platforms targeting state leaders, including security and military figures, are systematic smear campaigns aimed at insulting Tunisia and sowing discord and doubt in its leadership.

The cohesion of state institutions and the awareness and unity of the people in both countries can help thwart the “malicious campaign” targeting these two neighboring states, thereby maintaining regional security and stability, and protecting the systems that defend their independence—an inevitable result of the conspiracies of any malicious observer.
