Algeria cabinet to discuss new administrative apportionment

Algerian interior minister Nourredine Yazid Zerhouni is expected to make a presentation about the new administrative apportionment on Monday during a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia, Echorouk has learnt.

• The cabinet will also deal with the preparatory bill on 2010 budget due to be presented by finance minister Karim Djoudi for discussion and approval.
• Housing minister Nourredine Moussa will make a presentation about the five-year programme and encouraging measures for houses building.
• The government is expected to adopt an executive decree on the construction of a water dam in the province of Msila. It is supposed to enhance water distribution for the residents of the province and its suburbs.
• Energy minister Chakib Khelil will present an executive decree on oil products.
