Tayeb Zitouni
Algerian war veterans’ minister Tayeb Zitouni Tuesday said it is « impossible » to offer indemnity to black feet who owned some real-estates during the French occupation in Algeria.
« It is impossible to meet black feet’s demand to give them financial compensation for their properties during the French occupation in Algeria, » the minister told journalists.
“France occupied Algerian lands and took its wealth. It is Algeria which has the right to ask for what was stolen from it including its national archives. All the international laws are for the Algerian position in this regard,” he added.
