Algeria captain Yazid Mansouri
English club Brunley close to signing Algeria’s international and captain Yazid Mansouri in a cut-price £ 1 million deal.

The 31-year-old midfielder, who palys for French club Lorient, has held talks with Brunley officials.

Mansouri, who spent a season at Coventry six years ago, is due to lead Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations next month and will also face England at the World Cup finals in South Africa summer 2010.
