The trainer did not explicitly state which news source was guilty of the transgression but went into detail regarding what transpired during the conversation.

“Clearly they are trying to destabilise me. They called me for an interview but during the discussion they brought up an offer from the Yemeni national team and some story of a €80,000 bonus. I wasn’t fooled, I instantly understood this machination which wanted to disturb the peace of the Greens,” Saâdane explained in statement to a local sports news magazine.

“How else do you explain that these Egyptian journalists would make an offer on the behalf of the Yemeni Federation? They asked me if I would stay in my post after the Egypt match. Their intentions were definitely not clear but they’re not going to put one over me.”
This latest news is an indication of the rising tension between the two countries ahead of the Arab derby in Blida stadium on June 7.
