Algeria confirms seven new swine flu cases
Seven new cases of the A/H1N1 flu virus were confirmed in the province of Ain Timouchent (west of Algiers), Pasteur Institute said Thursday.

The virus hit three school boys, a 18-year-old girl and three women.

Chief of prevention section at the health department in Ain Timouchent said the confirmed cases are under medical supervision.

Echorouk learnt that doctors have doubts on the case of a 8-year-old girl thought to be hit by the virus in the same province. She is in a hospital under medical supervision pending for laboratory results within the next few hours.
