Algeria Deports Over 6,000 Nigerian Kids Out Of 18,000 Illegal Immigrants

Over 5,900 Nigerian kids out of 18640 illegal immigrants were sent back to their country of origin, Head of the Algerian Red Crescent, Saida Ben Habiles, said.

Deportation of these kids was an unavoidable consequence, because they were unaccompanied by their parents, after being found to be exploited in different cells.

In a statement to Echorouk, Ben Habiles attributed the strong return of African illegal immigrants to various cities and neighborhoods in the northern cities, is due to the generosity of these Algerians, and the spring weather, as poor weather, winter and snowfall have always made them flee to the South to escape the cold and unfavorable weather conditions, to land again in public parks, bus stations and safe locations.

“This confirms their strong return to the roads and neighborhoods these days, especially as they refuse to stay in the centers which are allocated to them, and which are always open, unlike they way they are treated in European countries, where they forced the immigrant to remain inside the closed centers”.
