Crime repression forces Monday dismantled an international network of firearms trade in the province of Tebessa, eastern Algeria.

The network includes four persons. Their arrest came upon information about their suspicious action.

Two months ago, a group of criminals carrying 51 arms was dismantled. Three other people aged between 30 and 50 carrying six sophisticated arms were arrested as well.

Investigations showed that those criminals smuggled arms from Libya across the desert to sell them to other criminal gangs at 500,000 DZ for each piece.

A vehicle carrying 24 packages of old clothes were seized on borders as well. Suspects appeared in court on Tuesday and were put in temporary prison.
