Algeria elections boycotters hold secret meetings
Algerian associations held secret meetings in Switzerland, France and London in the last two weeks sponsored by international human rights watchdogs in an attempt to raise scepticism over the national Reconciliation initiative in Algeria, Echorouk has learnt.
-
The meetings came up with a plan to launch a media campaign meant to criticise the State’s policy regarding the sustained endeavour to foster the National Reconciliation initiative.
-
The campaign plans to focus on western media including a French TV channel which raised the biased thesis of ‘who kills who.”
-
An Algerian politician met a group of political and military opposition supporters and members of Rashad association.
-
The association is expected to seize the opportunity of Algeria’s presidential elections due to be held on April 9 to criticise the government.
-
It is also expected to launch baseless accusations against journalists who refused to join this dirty game.
