Algeria electronics to launch first computer with Microsoft original programs

The Group Ben Hamadi, with its shareholders and partners joined Bouteflika’s project to link six million Algerian families with the internet network before 2013, by launching the first computer installed in Algeria and contain Microsoft’s original software with contents which meet the Algerians’ requirements and prices in line with the citizens' purchasing power.

 

  • Abderrahman Ben Hamadi, General Manager of the Algerian company “Enter Trade” known with the trademark “Condor”, belonging to the group Ben Hamadi, said during a press conference; “The partnership agreement signed between “Condor” and “Microsoft”  is designed to produce the first computer installed in Algeria with original software of the giant “Microsoft.”. The move, he said, is aimed at bolstering the program initiated by president Bouteflika labelled as “Ousratik 2”. This is the first project of the kind in the region”, he added.
  • Ben Hamadi also pointed to the marketing of “Net Book” in the company of Algeria according to international standards and original software of the Microsoft at 30.000 dinars during the coming days, while the price of the home computers will range between 34.000 dinars and 42.000 dinars. The company will produce 30.000 units in the Bordj Bouariridj industrial zone annually.
