Algeria football team: Raouraoua makes things crystal clear

Head of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua managed to restore stability to the national team by listening to the players and coach Saadane’s preoccupations.

• Raouraoua warned his staff in a meeting held on Monday against revealing secrets relating to trainings. The players promised him to implement all his instructions.
• He talked about the issue of Lahcen as some players did not want him to join the team. “The only person who has the prerogative to accept or reject any player is Coach Rabeh Saadane,” he told the players.
• According to sources, the FAF’s head will not allow any player to express his opinion about the arrival of new players.
• He listened to the team’s captain Yazid Mansouri who presented his team mates’ claims. Of them, not signing interior regulation. “You have the choice to sign the regulation or not but getting bonuses will be difficult. The FAF without phone operator Nedjma and some sponsors can not afford that,” Raouraoua told the players.
• He praised players Mourad Meghni and Rafik Saifi for having asked his authorisation before signing their last commercial in Algeria.
• According to Raouraoua, the FAF signed a new partnership contract with an Algerian insurance company. Any injured player will get considerable sums.
• “We should forget about problems because it is the question of the national team. We are ready to meet all your claims but you have to make a good performance in the African Cup. All the Algerian people are expecting that,” he said.
• He added that Saadane will remain in the team and the FAF trusts him. “He has the right to make changes in the team without allowing to any player to say no.”
