Algeria gets principle agreement from Russia to support oil stability

Algeria’s energy minister Nourredine Bouterfa Wednesday said Algiers and Moscow committed to boost energy cooperation by speeding up the achievement of common projects. A preinciple agreement was reached to support market stability through an oil meeting in Algeria due to be held on September 26th.
“We agreed on a number of measures related to projects which must be speeded up. Russia said it is ready to develop hydrocarbons program in Algeria,” the minister told Algeria News Agency (APS).
“This cooperation will be conducted through partnerships. Russia also can be present as part of calls for tender in construction and services field,” he added.
He also said Russia is ready to help Algeria in energy training.
