Algeria, India ink draft agreement on construction of anticancer drugs manufacturing unit

ALGIERS- A draft agreement on the construction of generic anticancer drug manufacturing unit was signed Monday in Algiers between the Medical-Surgical Industries Company (IMC) and Hetero Drugs of India.

The document was inked by IMC General Manager Nadir Abderrahmane and Srinivas Reddy from India’s Hetero Drugs, in the presence of Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Djamel Ould Abbes.

The US$10-million-worth project comprises the construction of a manufacturing unit of generic anticancer drugs, in their diverse forms (dried, liquid, injectable and freeze-dried).
