Algeria loses $1.100 billion due to the partnership agreement with the EU
Documents by the Algerian Customs services reveal the price of the tariff of the European products which entered Algeria, following the signing of the partnership agreement with the European Union and its member states.

The price is estimated at one billion and a hundred million euros only in three years in the industrial, farming and fishing products, before it comes to the final price in 2017, as referred to in the terms of the partnership agreement, which means that what is coming will be more severe on the national economy, particularly in the light of inability of the Algerian companies to compete with the European ones, because they are stronger in terms of money and quality.

In terms of numbers, the Algerian exports outside hydrocarbons towards the EU rose by $200 million, while its imports noticed a rise by $4.3 billion, a rise that economists attributed to many factors particularly recovery of the Euro compared to the U.S dollar, as well the rising price of raw materials and foods on the global markets.
