Algeria military tribunal to decide in 310,000 Euro theft case
A theft case of about 310,000 euros in which four gendarmes are involved has been transferred to a military tribunal in the province of Constantine (east of Algiers), Echorouk has learnt.

Earlier, a tradesman living in the area of Mila (east of Algiers) had filed a complaint to the National Gendarmerie against four gendarmes for allegedly stealing his money from his car.

The National Gendarmerie assigned an investigation commission and found out that the theft was carried out in collaboration with a well-known tradesman in the area.

The four gendarmes were arrested and appeared before the military tribunal. The examining judge ordered to remand them in custody pending the trial.

The tradesman who lodged the complaint was jailed pending the completion of the ongoing investigation for violating the law concerning money spending.
