Numerous secondary school teachers have expressed their readiness to provide remedial evening courses, free of charge, for all Baccalaureate candidates outside their working hours in order to help them brace up for the June 2014 exam session in the most adequate conditions.

Such remedial courses, to be given by volunteer teachers, will take place at the level of secondary schools in various parts of the country and will start after 5 hours p.m. in the early evening.

A spokesman for the independent national council of secondary and technical education teachers, Messaoud Boudina, told Echorouk that many teachers were ready to provide extra back-up courses to pupils of the three cycles taken together but with a prime focus on those of the third year secondary cycle without any payment.

He pointed out that these well-meaning teachers would do their utmost to extend high-grade tutoring to the candidates during both the upcoming spring holiday break and also during the month of May well ahead of the examination periods.
