Algeria team shortly before match against Egypt

The Algerian football team was not affected by continuous Egyptian provocations after stonethrowing fans attacked their bus as they continued preparing for the Saturday’s qualifying match against Egypt.

• The team arrived late to the stadium for their first training session as their bus driver changed the direction in a provocative way.

• Yet, the players did not loose their temper and carried out the training in good conditions. Injured Antar Yahia and Yebda attended the training hoping to play the match.

• 10 Algerian law makers on time

• The players came back to their hotel in good conditions due to security measures. They had their dinner and went to their rooms concerned about the match.

• A total of 10 Algerian law makers were present in the hotel to stand by the players’ side. Rafik Saifi called his brother in Algeria and told him all the attacked players will play the match.
