Algeria to boost gas network with 5 billion dollars

Chakib Khelil, Algeria's Energy and Mines Minister has said in an interview with “Arabies” magazine that Algeria is set to increase the current gas transport capacity by over 50% by 2013.

A total of $5bn will be invested to that end, Chakib Khelil asserted.
