Algeria to buy Djezzy before the end of 2011, says Ben Hammadi

Algiers-The crisis of liquidity to be solved before the holy month Ramadan, the Minister of Posts, Information and Communication Technologies Moussa Ben Hammadi said during the inauguration of the International Exhibition of Future Technologies “Siftech” 201 here on Tuesday.

The minister refers to the activation of a plan to address the various causes of the repeated crisis which impeded the Algerians while getting their money from post accounts.

He refused to identify the deadlines for the end of works of the committee to assess “Djezzy” explaining that Algeria is committed to the decision of the acquisition and the file will be finally closed before the end of 2011.

“Algeria will buy Djezzy before the end of 2011. Work of the committee to assess this company at an advanced stage. Algeria has 8 million internet users, the equivalent of 27% of the total population”.
