Mohamed Aissa, Algeria's religious affairs minister

Algeria’s religious affairs minister Mohamed Aissa Wednesday said the first form of bond loans is acceptable. A commission was set up at the ministry’s scientific council to examine its second form announced by the Prime Minister.

« Algeria’s quota for the next Hajj season will not be affected by tension in Algerian-Saudi diplomatic relations. More than 300,000 pilgrims go to the Holy Places per year. Algeria is ranked first in the Arab world in terms of the number of pilgrims. Because of that, no need to worry about this,” said the minister.

“Evangelist campaigns try to raise doubts in our religion. They want us to understand religion through machines, inanimate objects and incredible people,” he added.

Chairman of the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulema Guessoum said there are attempts to underestimate and exclude the Association.
