Algeria wants different tickets colour for match against Egypt, says ambassador
Algeria’s ambassador to Egypt Abdelkader Hadjar
Algeria’s ambassador to Egypt Abdelkader Hadjar and the head of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua suggested to not make a unified tickets colour for fans ahead of November 14 match, the ambassador said.

“Different tickets colour would allow Egyptian security forces to recognize Algerian fans and ensure their safety,” he told Echorouk on the phone.
-
-
“The security forces will guide the Algerian fans to their benches to avoid skirmishes with the Egyptians,” he added.

The ambassador held a meeting with the chairman of Egypt’s National Council of Sports Hassan Sakr, the chief of the Egyptian Football Federation Samir Zaher and the FAF’s head, two days ago.

The Algerian ambassador said the meeting came up with a call to all the journalists from both countries to reduce tension among fans and limit the event in a football game between two countries.
-
-
“We agreed on not to allow journalists and sports commentators insulting Algerian and Egyptian people.”
-
-
He also said Raouraoua checked the places where the Algerian players will stay in Egypt and the benches of the fans.
-
-
“Egypt rejected Algeria’s request to get 5,000 tickets and limited the number in 2,000 for security reasons.”

Hadjar added that three people were appointed. Of them, Raouraoua was assigned to be incharge of communication and coordination with the Algerian embassy in Egypt. “Algeria and Egypt have taken all the necessary measures so that the match will take place in friendly conditions.”
