Algeria’s Archbishop triggers anger among evangelists

Evangelism disciples in Algeria blamed Archbishop Ghaleb Badr for his latest remarks on secret evangelisation in some areas of the country.

• The disciples known for their evangelisation activities in the Kabylie region and western Algerian say Ghaleb Badr targeted evangelists in Algeria.
• Last week, Algeria’s Archbishop told Echorouk his church has nothing to do with the current evangelisation acts in some areas of the country.
• Algerians called Echorouk saying they are Christian evangelists and they have nothing to do with Ghaleb Badr and his church.
• They described the Catholic Church in Algeria as their “first enemy and the biggest danger on their faith.”
