You had an exceptional welcome in El Oued.
-
-
That’s right. I am very happy for that hearty welcome in my native town El Oued. I was expecting that because I know the behaviour of my fellow citizens.
-
-
It is an acknowledgment of your efforts with the national squad. It is also a pressure to qualify to the World Cup.
-
-
It is wonderful when you see old people and children surrounding and hailing you. Everyone wants to achieve the goal of the World Cup. We are not afraid of any pressure because we are close from the dream.
-
-
Victory over Egypt paved the way to the World Cup and the victory over Zambia confirmed it.
-
-
Our victory made us believing more in the possibility of reaching our goal. I think we did the biggest part of the work.
-
-
What were your feelings when you were in South Africa as it will host the World Cup?
-
-
Honestly, I felt that we can play for the World Cup. Solidarity between the players, the technical staff and the federation makes us going one again to South Africa without forgetting our funs.
-
-
There is still the return match against Zambia.
-
-
All the matches are important and the return match is one of the three remaining matches. We will play it with the same will to win. We have now a large view on Zambia and we will do our best in September 5th’s match.

New players will join the squad including Megheni and Yebda. Aren’t you afraid of loosing your main position?
-
-
Any player is welcome if he adds something new because it would be for the good sake of the squad. As far as I am concerned, I will do my best to keep my main position and I will not give up.
