Algeria’s Saâdane: “Victory is best response to critics”

Algeria’s coach Rabah Saadane said victory over Mali in Thursday’s match in Luanda is the best response to those who hastily criticised him after last Monday's 3-nil defeat versus Malawi.

• “The players could recover their level through their will power in the match. This victory raised our chances to qualify to the second round,” Saadane told a news conference.
• “Though we played in high humidity, we tried to impose our usual way of playing. Thanks Allah, we made an important victory as we studied the opponent’s weak and strong points,” he added.
• He also said the next math will be decisive. “I promise that my players will do their best to win and continue the adventure.”
