Algeria’s Ziani will have special training in Switzerland

Algeria’s Karim Ziani will carry out an exceptional activity in the first week in the national team’s training due to be held in Switzerland starting from May 13th, Echorouk has learnt.

• Ziani is expected to multiply his physical efforts in the first week with the help of the coach’s assistant. All the players who do not play regularly with their clubs including Mourad Meghni and Yazid Mansouri will be along him.
• A close source said the player was not affected by VfL Wolfsburg’s decision to stop dealing with him before the end of the season. He said he is satisfied as he will focus only on the World Cup.
• It is known that Ziani keeps playing well even if he is absent in official competitions. He did not play with his club Marseille in qualifiers but his performance was good in Algeria’s match against Gambia in Blida stadium.
• He wants now to play in France once again as he believes he could boost his professional career there.
• He may play with Sochaux or Lorient as he was a brilliant player in those teams. He wants to find a team where he can be a permanent player and he is not looking for money at present. The most important thing for him is to play after he had a difficult season with Wolfsburg.
• Echorouk learnt that he will play neither with Paris Saint Germain nor with Olympique de Marseille. Saadane said he will be a permanent player in the World Cup and the national team needs him.
• The coach believes that Ziani’s strong personality will help him to come back to competition and 25 days will be enough to prepare for the World Cup.
