Algerian coach Rabah Saadane reconsiders his plan concerning some players

As a direct consequence of the latest setback of the Algerian national squad before the Serbian side, the head coach Rabah Saadane has yesterday made public on a radio program his decision to pull aside seven players who took part to the last African Cup of Nations in Angola.

  • After many hesitations the coach has finally disclosed the list which mostly includes local players like the goalkeeper Ousserir, the defenders Babouche, Rahou and Zaoui as well as the two professionals Amer Bouaaza in addition to Bezzaz on account of an injury while Lemouchia was counted out for disciplinary reasons.

  • The coach Rabah Saadane has argued that these players are not fit to play at the World level where he has to count on elements likely to be the match of prestigious players from other nations like Slovenia, England and the United States.

  • In this respect, Rabah Saadane thinking about a substitution plan to replace the mentioned players, as he assigned the task for his collaborators to supervise many others in different European leagues. The coach will reinforce his defence and the midfield in addition to the post of the goalkeeper, considering that he has enough solutions in the attacking line.

  • Saadane has revealed that his collaborators will forward him through reports on the targeted players on their return to the country. These players are: the goalkeeper Micheal Fabre (Clermont Ferrand), the defenders, Charfa and Zarabi brothers in addition to the midfield Adlane Guedioura.

  • The head coach will be in charge of supervising the local players especially those who were selected by the coach Abdelhak Benchikha. Reliable sources revealed that Rabah Saadane will focus his interest on both Rabie Meftah and Hocine Metref whose chances to be part of the group are great.a
