Algerian coach Rabah Saadane to tour Europe for fresh players

The President of the Algerian Football Federation Mohammed Raouraoua and the Head coach Rabah Saadane will spend five to six days touring around Europe in a bid to meet four players as part of their prospection plan to discuss with them numerous aspects surrounding their participation in the upcoming World Cup tournament with the Algeria squad, Echourok has learnt.

• The visit is not aimed at supervising the players since thorough reports have been forwarded by the coach’s assistants concerning their performances recently, these sources added. However the coach will seize this opportunity to sensitize them and explain the ins and outs inside the Algerian national squad and dictate the attitude they have to adopt among the group.

• Guedioura, Chakouri, Faber and Chorfa in the coach’s agenda

• During his European tour, Rabah Saadane will officially summon the players Chakouri, Guedioura, Chorfa and the goalkeeper Faber to join the Algeria squad in the upcoming training camp ahead of the friendly against Northern Ireland. The players were recently supervised by the other members of the technical staff who praised their qualities.

• On the other hand, the coach will most probably call up one local player who must be either Rabie Meftah or Hocine Metref but ruled out the option of calling back those who were counted out recently.
