In a statement on Monday, January 13, the Algerian embassy in Ankara denied the allegations promoted by the media regarding allegations of an invitation to a Kurdish delegation to Algeria.

Ambassador Amar Belani explained in a press release that “these allegations are imaginary and baseless.”

The ambassador also stressed that “the strong and strategic relations that link Algeria with Turkey cannot be affected by any unfriendly confusion or ambiguity.”

The ambassador affirmed that Algeria “does not interfere in the internal affairs of countries, and this is an ideological position in our foreign policy.”

The Algerian ambassador to Turkey confirmed: “Algeria’s firm condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and from whatever source. This is a principled and fixed position in our national policy.”
