Algerian Father Encourages His Son To Join ISIS In Syria

Based on what is stated in the trial, on Wednesday’s meeting, the accused were arrested after information that were received by the judicial police services, within the framework of the follow-up of persons who are involved in terrorist acts, and based on field investigations, they showed that one of the released plans to join groups that are operating in Syria, and it comes to “A.A”, as they found during a search of his home the central unit of a computer that contains leaflets that call for Jihad.

During the hearing of March 2015, the defendant admitted to the law enforcement officers, that his irrepressible will to join ISIS, came to his mind after a proposition of his friend, who was involved in the idea of ​​terrorism issues, being in contact with someone who is active within the organization, to agree after he got encouragement from his brother, who is in Turkey and his father, who remained a link between him and the owner of the shop, where a man “M.Kh” works, especially after being briefed that he intends also to join the organization, and wants to transfer an amount of a billion centimes into hard currency, proposing to distribute the sum to the members of his family to perform Umrah, to avoid detention by the customs. The defendant said he had received support from a web master who is called “Hafid El Houcine”.

Expansion of the investigation on those involved revealed that they are of the same age and come from Algiers neighborhoods, like Kouba and Bachdjerah, and they tried to recruitment and travel to Iraq, and they also have contacts with terrorists who are in the mountains of Tizi Ouzou, especially after finding identity cards, banking checks of terrorists in the mountains of Tizi Ouzou and wanted as well.
