Algerian Flight Company to assist African countries for the pilgrimage ritual

The Algerian light company Ouahid Bou Abdellah has announced rate increase on this year’s pilgrimage flight tickets estimated at 5000 Algerian Dinars in comparison with the last year’s prices.

In a length interview due to appear on Saturday’s number, he declared that this year’s tickets’ fees will not exceed 100 Thousand Algerian Dinars even with the increase of taxes and other expenses.

This decision obeys to the Algerian Prime Minister’s order to stand for the extra charges while the Algerian flight company has applied a rate increase which varies from 7-10% to offset the deficit caused by the subsidiary policy implemented by the government which imposes a ceiling to the prices for this destination.

The general manager has added that the number of airports that host pilgrims for a direct flight to the holy land has been increased to reach a total of 21 scattered across the country, taking into account the density of the population in each region.

M Bou Abdellah went on saying that his company received formal requests from five African countries including Niger and Burkinafasso in addition to Mauritania and Senegal asking for assistance to transport their pilgrims.
