Algerian forces eliminate a terrorist east of Algiers

Algerian forces eliminated a terrorist and retrieved his Kalashnikov in Sidi Daoued, Wednesday, in the forest of Sidi Amr Charif, situated in the high mountains of Sidi Daoued.  

• The operation followed a clash between the armed forces and terrorists who were besieged at the region for nearly a week, as the region noticed an important military operation, following information about the presence of five terrorists in the region.
• Algerian forces besieged them for a whole week, using helicopters and air strikes, forcing the terrorist group out of their cache, and enter into an armed clash with the army troops in an attempt to lift the siege which was imposed on them; one of them was injured, while the rest remained under siege.
