Algerian forces find drugs inside terrorists’ cache, following foiled abduction attempt
Algerian forces found, Wednesday night, over two kilograms of cannabis and a considerable amount of foodstuffs, mattresses and blankets inside a cache which was used by terrorists in the southern mountains of Azefoune, 130 km east of Algiers.

According to Echorouk sources, this operation came in the aftermath of a combing operation launched by the Algerian army in the southern forests of the town of Azefoune.

The source which reported the news said the army was tracking down a number of terrorists there, who had earlier tried to abduct one contractor’s family member and businessman settled in Azefoune The hunted terrorists surrounded the victim’s house on Wednesday night , and called him out in order to abduct him.

However, when he realized that they were terrorists he took his arm and started shooting at them. Shortly afterwards, the armed forces rushed to the scene and chased the terrorists who hurriedly fled to the nearby forest.
