Algerian forces kill a terrorist east of Algiers

The Algerian forces eliminated a terrorist and retrieved his Kalashnikov on Sunday in the region of Amel, east southern of Boumerdes, east of Algiers. 

• The armed troops moved following the reception of information about the existence of a terrorist group south eastern of the region, in an attempt to infiltrate of the siege that was imposed on the terrorists, as an ambush was prepared by the security services, causing a clash between the armed forces and the terrorist group, composed of three terrorists, who moved to the strongholds of Beni Amrane in order to secure some firepower and ammunition.

• The clash ended up eliminating one of the terrorists and retrieving his gun, as he was transferred to the service of preserving bodies to determine his identity.

• The armed forces launch an intensive bombardment and clean up operation in the region of Ghezeroual, in the far east of the locality, resulting in the destruction of a terrorist cache and retrieval of some food and ammunition.
