Algiers criminal court prosecuted, on Monday, three people who are involved in supporting and trying to join terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq, as they were arrested after investigation, and following the monitoring of their facebook accounts, based on suspicions that were hovering around an accused who is called “D.M”, an Algeria immigrant in Canada, who wants to join ISIS, as his facebook account was placed under surveillance, to prove that he was in constant contact between him and a man called “Abu Obeida Al Jazeiri” and” Abu Musab”, and they talked about Jihad in Syria, in addition to publishing many pictures and logos of ISIS.

Investigations about the accused and tracking continued after his relationship with two brothers in Algeria, one of them is a coach and owner of a gymnasium hall in Algiers Bachdjarrah neighborhood, as he met him via a “YouTube” video to promote his sport, and he managed to draw his attention to comment on the video, and then they were networking through “Facebook”, to drag gradually with his brother in order to obtain the financial means to go to Syria, and to facilitate his movements, and then monitoring him since his stay in Canada until his departure to Algeria, which he chose to be a transit station, but security services arrested them later and thwarted their plan to travel to Syria via Houari Boumediene Airport.

After deliberations, the court signed judgments that ranged between non guiltiness and 5 years in prison against the accused.
