Algerian joint forces eliminate three terrorists east of Algiers
Algerian joint forces eliminated on Sunday, January 16, three terrorists in the region of Si Mostafa, 15 km east of Boumerdes, east of Algiers, and retrieved their Kalashnikovs.

Sources which reported the news said the operation came after the security services received information about the movement of a terrorist group in a small forest in the region.

The terrorist group consists of six elements who were trying to infiltrate into the city in order to provide food, following the security siege that imposed on them for a long time.

Security forces installed an ambush to trap the terrorists and entered into a clash. The operation resulted in killing three terrorists, while the rest of them managed to escape to an unknown destination; however, it is believed they have not been far from the operation.

Bodies of the three terrorists have been transferred to the hospital where one of them was identified, he is Rouache Toufik, 32 years-old, from Si Mostafa, and he was an important element in “Si Mostafa” sub-battalion, he was also sentenced to several criminal provisions at Boumerdes court, including life prison, death on charges of creating and joining terrorist groups, as well as owning arms and explosives.
