Algerian-Made Electronic Safety Bracelet to Accompany Pilgrims

An Algerian company has created an electronic safety bracelet to accompany pilgrims and Umrah performers, especially the elderly, according to what was learned during the first edition of the “Al-Haramain” International Exhibition for Hajj, Umrah and Tourism, which concluded its activities on Tuesday evening in Oran (western Algeria).

The technology solutions company “All Intelligence Solutions” located in Bouira (eastern Algiers) has designed this bracelet directed to the bodies and travel agencies specialized in Hajj and Umrah for the safety of pilgrims and Umrah performers to accompany them throughout the performance of these two religious rituals, according to what the company’s manager, Atallah Noureddine, explained to “APS”.

This bracelet, which was tested by a travel agency and gave positive results, allows the person to be located wherever he/she is located if he/she is lost or if he/she suffers from a health problem (fainting), as it gives an alarm to alert the guides responsible for accompanying them, The bracelet responds to them, according to the same source.

The features of this bracelet, which is placed on the wrist of the pilgrim or Umrah performer, are monitoring health by providing information about blood pressure, heartbeat rate, oxygen level and the number of steps he/she has walked, as indicated.

This technology is part of the services provided by the website “Khutwa” in the field of Hajj and Umrah, which includes other applications, such as booking hotels in Mecca and Medina and experiencing Hajj and Umrah before heading to the holy places, adds Atallah Noureddine, who is the creator of this platform.

The “Al-Haramain” Hajj, Umrah and Tourism Exhibition was an opportunity for this company to launch this service and introduce it to visitors to this event organized by the company “Even Pro”, in which more than 30 companies specialized in catering, hotels, tourism and travel participated.
