Algerian MPs criticize government’s economic policy
Deputies in the National People’s Assembly criticized here on Sunday the complementary financial law, which tends credibility in the initial appreciation of the law, refusing to rely on oil revenues, because this is a real threat to programs in case of prices collapse.
MP from MSP Zine El Abidine Ben Mdekhen said during the discussion of the draft complementary law that working with the complementary finance law reflects a shortfall in expectations wondering why funds including large amounts of money are not yet spent, asking government to count that money and close those funds.
While other MPs feared the alarming increase in the import bill and wondered about the cause behind the government’s delay to cancel the loan to import some material.
