Algerian national squad staff in Zambia to prepare for upcoming qualifier.

The Algerian head coach Rabah Saadane will today fly along with his staff to Zambia as part of their “exploration” trips to South Africa and Zambia with a view to completing the final preparations of the “Greens” training camp pending the next official match against Zambia slated for June20

• The Algerian delegation headed by the president of the Algerian Football Association (FAF) Mohammed Raouraoua will make a three day working visit to Zambia in order to pave the way for the Algerian national squad before  D day.
• The national team will sojourn in South Africa from 11 through 19 June before taking a regular flight to the Zambian capital city to meet the other side at “Chilambobi” stadium, literally (death stadium).
• The “Fenecs” chose the town of Pretoria, the second South African major city, as a location for their training camp pending the official match in Zambia.
• Both Saadane and Raouraoua accompanied by Saadi and Zefzaf travelled to several South African cities but ended up by choosing Pretoria for being the most appropriate one in addition to the fact that the Algerian consulate is based  in the same town.
• The “Greens” training camp in South Africa will coincide with the Intercontinental Cup competitions which brings together the champions from each continent including the African champions, Egypt.
• The competition’s officials have invited the Algerian squad to attend the match opposing Brazil to Italy.
• The Algerian delegation will stay in one of the “Five stars” hotels while the training sessions will take place in stadiums annex to the main stadiums “Bliditch” and “Super” stadium.
• The 2010 World Cup manager provided all accommodations to the Greens:
•  To confirm the existing excellent bilateral ties between Algeria and its South African counterpart, the World Cup manager Dany Jordan has provided the necessary means to assure a good preparation for the greens. Sources from South Africa revealed that both Raouraoua and Dany Jordan had a long conversation concerning the ideal location for an appropriate preparation.
