Algerian Prime Minister refuses to comment the Egyptian vicious campaign
The Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia has declared to Echourouk that the Algerian authorities will not delve into any kind of controversy that will likely disturb the prevailing euphoria in the country after the historic qualification of the Greens to the world Cup in South Africa.

On the sidelines of the reception given by the Algerian president to the Algerian players, the PM has revealed to Echourouk “ Today, we want to talk about happiness only, and don’t want to anything else that could pollute the atmosphere”, declining to express about the ferocious Egyptian media campaign against the Algerian people and authorities in the wake of their defeat in Khartoum.

Ahmed Ouyahia didn’t want to comment the Egyptian authorities’ moves and more specifically the latest cabinet’s meeting chaired by the president Housni Mubarek in which he debated the alleged assaults carried out by Algerian fans against Egyptians in Khartoum, at a time when the Sudanese authorities have staunchly denied such allegations and praised the Algerian fans fair-play.

As to the efforts deployed by the Algerian authorities in a bid to facilitate the trip for thousands of Algerian fans to Khartoum in order to stand by their team, the Prime Minister spontaneously declared “when we work we don’t talk”.
