Algerian public divided over future of outgoing FAF President Raouraoua

The results of an opinion poll conducted by site “Echorouk Sports”, immediately after the end of the proceedings of the General Assembly of the Algerian Football Federation which endorsed the moral and financial balance-sheet of outgoing FAF President President Mohamed Raouraoua, showed that the Algerian public sphere is now divided over the fate of the latter to stay or not at the helm of the Federation.

Despite the fact that the proportion of those who call for the departure of Raouraoua is slightly higher than the proportion of those who want him to stay, the remarkable thing is that the Algerians are still divided about the future of this leading sports personality.

Relevant opinion Polls accounted for 51.57% of the votes numbering 11,862 voters who want Raouraoua to quit, while on the other side of the spectrum, 48.42% of the votes or (11,138 voters) have expressed their desire to see Raouraoua continue to preside over the FAF Federation as part of a new mandate.

And up to the very last day of the official deadline for the submission of candidacies for the FAF top rostrum post on Sunday at midnight, March 12,  Mr Raouraoua has not announced his desire to run again to succeed himself for a new term, which means according to several observers, that he’s rather bent on quitting the FAF Federation.
