Algerian team in danger because of the injuries

Algerian internationals playing in the European championships are marginalized for many reasons, while some of them suffer from injuries in a way that confused the Algerian coach Rabah Sadane, who preferred to think twice before taking any decision in anticipation of the World Cup South Africa.

  • According to trainers and technicians, time is still too early to launch a warning, which explains the recent statements by the Algerian coach Rabah Saadane, who preferred not to take a fast decision about choosing the players, especially since the majority of them are passing a difficult period within their clubs.
  • However, things may become very serious if Ziani, Antar Yahia, Matmour, Chadli and others will not restore their basic positions with their clubs, the same applies to the injured players like Bougherra, Megheni and Yebda.
  • Technicians asserted that the countdown has begun for the preparation of these players in anticipation to the World Cup South Africa, as they think that a return to competition should be conducted during the month of April in order to raise the challenge before the large competing teams in the stadiums of South Africa.
  • Coach Younes Iftissen said; “The Algerian players, currently absent from the competition, can join the race if they return to competition starting from April because they succeed in collecting an average of ten games before the World Cup. I think that this is sufficient to be ready for the competition, in the case of their continued absence after this date, it would be difficult for them to play in the World Cup”.
  • Apart from the players of the Algerian team, those who are inspected by the team’s technical crew, like Kedioura, Faber and Mesbah, play regularly with their clubs, thing which encourages Saadane to call them if the current players are not ready for the World Cup next June.
