Algerians artists leader in France opens fire on Fellag
Fellag
Chief of Algerian artists in France Omar Louzite criticised actor Fellag for his play untitled ‘All Algerians are mechanics,†describing it as provocative and offending.

The association chief expressed anger over the play title with the word mechanics used in Europe to make under-estimate people.
-
“Algeria is a nice and democratic country. If Fellag wants to be an actor, he must not do that to the detriment of his origins. If he wants to do politics, he must create a party or join one,” he said.
-
He alluded to the illiteracy of Fellag, asking to change the play title. “Fellag’s pretext is making French people laugh on the reality of Algerians.”
-
The play is about a man and his wife, Salim and Shahrazed. They used to work as French teachers but they lost their jobs because of the arabization problem in Algeria. Finally, they find no other job than to be mechanics. The engine becomes a space for free practice of democracy. It gathers various trends and races. Thanks to breakdowns, everyone forgets about his / her conflicts to deal with the problem of the engine. Thus, the car is turned into a source of political solutions. Acording to Fellag, all Algerians are mechanics.
