Some people are in a race to beat the record in the number of times they perform Haj. Others dream of visiting the holy places at least once in their life.

Some people use all the possible ways to perform the fifth pillar in Islam. Some buy Haj passports from online sale websites.

Sheikh Mohamed Kherbouche, an imam in a mosque in Algiers, said Haj in Islam is performed once in one’s life.

Secretary General of Imams’ National Coordination Djelloul Hadjimi said Muslims have to perform Haj once in their life. “They should leave the place for others who did not visit the holy places.”

Many travel agencies offer haj services at 100 million centimes.
