Algerians have to pay 120,000 DZ to spend summer holidays
Tour agencies representatives expect that a small number of Algerians will spend holidays abroad due to low purchasing power and the economic crisis.
Vice-president of tour agencies union Ilyes Senoussi told Echorouk only rich people who can afford spending summer holidays outside Algeria this year. Middle class people can not bear holidays and travel costs as the lowest tariff is estimated at 120,000 DZ.
He added that Turkey is the most wanted destination for Algerians followed by Tunisia, Morocco, the UAE, Egypt and some Asian countries.
President of tour agencies Cherif Menasra said a large number of Algerians visited Turkey during the last week of the fasting month of Ramadan. Morocco comes second followed by Egypt and Tunisia.
